I'm strong and tuff and
My actions reveals that enough.
'Why? I can do it' is my response,
Whenever someone bounces to help.
So, scorching sun and hair tied in a bun,
Lots of grunting and there goes
Another weekend of house hunting!
How many?
Two.
Who all?
Me and Amma.
Oh! That's it?
Yes, why?
Err..Nothing.
An expected B.S after an
Awkward silence and
All I could see is a tyrant.
We- slog our butts and bring money.
We- pay all the bills
We- take the trash out
We- bring that damned water can every time for a refill.
We- move big furnitures at home.
We- wear pants and oh also ride bikes, just if you ask.
We- are the 'Kings' of this house
And yet...you ask for a man?
A man who's not around.
A man who was never been there to help.
A man who for God-knows-where he is.
A man who isn't running around doing chores.
A man who isn't standing before you now.
And yet...you ask for a man?
I'm strong and tuff but,
Times like these gives a huff and
Breaks the insides,
Simply chiding away,
'that' strong one!
I now look up,
I don't need a 'Raghuram' to an 'Abhi'
But don't I even deserve
A 'Ray' to an 'Anastasia'?
The voice from top grew loud,
You deserve better darling.
You get an 'Erin Brockovich' instead!!
I loved that deal.
I'm stronger now❤️
